Can you legally change your name to a business?

Dear Stupid Questions,

Lately, I have been wondering if it is possible to legally change your name to the name of a business? For example, changing your name to McDonalds Incorporated or Wal-Mart Incorporated. If you could legally change your name to a business name it would seem that you could cash any checks written to them and therefore become a very wealthy person!

Once again it seems that we have found yet another person to add to the list of people that answer their very own questions! Here's what he came up with!

After I sent you this question, I looked up the answer on the net. I found out that you cannot change your name in an attempt to defraud someone. It is actually very difficult to change your name and there is a huge form to fill out.
