Third, and second world contries?
From: "forrest"
What is a THIRD word country and why is it
designated as such? Also, is there such a thing as a SECOND world
country?
Paul gave us his intellectual views on countries:
A third world country is a country that has not
developed industrially. The countries usually have a poor human
rights record as well.
There are second world countries. These are countries that are
industrially developed, but have not improved their human rights
record. Communist countries are generally considered second world
countries.
That leaves first world countries as being industrialized and
leading the world in human rights policies.
