Nature of truth
From: "Peter Musial"
What is the nature of truth?
An anonymous writer sent us their insight as to
what they believe is truth.
As far as I see it, there are two types of truth.
Relative truth, and ultimate truth. Relative truths are assumptions,
without 100% certainty (but maybe 99.999% likely), and ultimate
truth is proven beyond all doubt. For instance, you could say with
relative truth that your friends were nice people, and thoroughly
believe it to be true; it would be true for you, but others might
differ in that opinion. Ultimate truth would be something free from
all subjectivity, and everyone everywhere would acknowledge and
agree on its fact(s).
